本作はアクリル絵の具にて制作しております。繊細でありながら華やかに、そして確かな立体感をもって表現いたしました。絵の具の限界を突破した、**半立体色彩画（よしかづ画法）**によるオリジナル技法の作品です。
ハイランド牛は、スコットランドの高地を原産とする、長い毛と大きな角が特徴的な牛です。厳しい寒さや風雨に耐えるため、全身を覆う長く豊かな被毛を持っています。特に頭部の毛は長く、目元まで覆う独特の姿は、ハイランド牛ならではの魅力です。
左右に大きく伸びた角と、厚みのある力強い身体も大きな特徴です。野性的でありながらどこか穏やかで愛らしい表情を持ち、見る人に強い印象を与えます。長い毛がつくり出す独特の質感、角の造形、そして力強い身体と穏やかな表情——その個性的な姿は、古くからスコットランドの風景を象徴する存在として親しまれています。
こんなにも美しい牛がいたことを知り、今回モデルに選びました。

The Highland cow — Heilan Coo in Scottish dialect — is one of the world’s most distinctive breeds, native to the rugged highlands of Scotland. Bred to endure fierce cold and driving wind, it is draped from head to hoof in a long, flowing coat of extraordinary richness. The hair that falls across its face, veiling its eyes in a curtain of warmth, is perhaps its most iconic feature — wild, yet somehow tender.
Its horns sweep wide and proud. Its body is broad and powerful. And yet, for all its imposing presence, there is something undeniably gentle in its expression — a quiet calm that draws you in and refuses to let go.
It was the very first glimpse of reference photographs that stopped KAJIKAWA in his tracks. The beauty was immediate and overwhelming. From that moment, the goal was clear: to create a work even more captivating than the creature itself. Every strand of coat was rendered with obsessive care — layered, textured, alive.
