大阪・西天満の路地裏に、砂を混ぜた左官壁、モロッコのアンティーク扉、むき出しの天井——ホワイトキューブのセオリーを否定した、他にない味わい深い空間として生まれたギャラリー イグエムアート。
「i＝私、g＝ギャラリー、u＝あなた、m＝瑞枝のM、art＝芸術」——その名が示す通り、ここは作家と訪れる人が対等に交わる場所です。
そのigu_m_artが、今年でオープンから9周年を迎えます。
vol.1から積み重ねてきた『個』anniversary展は、毎回「自由に表現すること」をただ一つのルールとして、多彩なアーティストたちが各々の世界を持ち寄ってきました。9回目を迎える今年も、その精神はそのままに。作家それぞれの「個」が、老松通りの路地裏でひっそりと、しかし力強く輝きます。
私は後期に参加し、F10号の新作1点を出品いたします。

igu_m_art Group Exhibition “Ko” Anniversary Exhibition vol.9
Tucked away in a quiet back alley of Nishitenma, Osaka, Art Gallery igu_m_art was born as a space unlike any other — walls textured with sand-mixed plaster, an antique Moroccan door at the entrance, and exposed ceilings that breathe with openness. A deliberate departure from the white cube.
“i = me, g = gallery, u = you, m = M for Mizue, art = art” — as the name suggests, this is a place where artists and visitors meet as equals.
This year, igu_m_art celebrates its 9th anniversary.
Since vol.1, the “Ko” Anniversary Exhibition has gathered artists under one simple rule: express freely. Each edition has brought together diverse voices, each carrying their own distinct world into this intimate space. Vol.9 is no different. The “individuality” of each artist glows quietly yet powerfully in the lanes of Rōmatsu-dōri.
I will be participating in the latter period, presenting one new work in F10 size.
