「大阪御堂筋アート」は、大阪のメインストリート・御堂筋を舞台に、約1カ月にわたり開催される大規模なアートプロジェクトです。2015年に「そぞろ歩きアート展」として始まり、2016年より現在の名称となりましたが、2020年はコロナ禍により開催中止となりました。
本企画は、絵画や彫刻など多様な作品を、企業や人が集まる都市空間に展示することで、アートをより身近に感じてもらうと同時に、大阪の文化的価値向上や若手作家の発表機会の創出を目的としています。
これまでの歩みを踏まえ、不安定な時代の中でも「アートのあるまちづくり」を継続するため、本年も開催されます。私自身もこの趣旨に共感し、今年より参加することとなりました。今回は御堂筋エリアを中心に、27箇所のビル・施設で展示が行われ、都市全体を巡るアート体験が展開されます。
本企画を通じて、多くの方にアートの魅力が届き、大阪という街がさらに豊かな文化都市として発展していくことを願っています。
私はF30号で、がっしりと幅のある迫力ある作品を展示します。

Osaka Midosuji Art
“Osaka Midosuji Art” is a large-scale art project held לאורך Osaka’s main boulevard, Midosuji, spanning approximately one month. Originally launched in 2015 as “Sozoro Walk Art Exhibition,” it was renamed in 2016 and has continued to evolve, despite a temporary cancellation in 2020 due to the pandemic.
This initiative aims to integrate art into the urban environment by exhibiting paintings, sculptures, and various contemporary works throughout a district where business and daily life intersect. It seeks to enhance Osaka’s cultural presence, provide opportunities for emerging artists, and bring art closer to a wider public beyond traditional galleries and museums.
Based on the experience of past editions, the project continues with a renewed vision toward the futurepromoting a city enriched by art.
I am pleased to participate in this project for the first time this year. The exhibition will take place across 27 buildings and facilities along the Midosuji area, transforming the city itself into an open art platform.
Through this initiative, I hope that audiences will experience the accessibility and depth of contemporary art, and that Osaka will further develop as a vibrant cultural city.
I will be exhibiting a bold, substantial, and impactful F30-sized piece. I am looking forward to seeing how it looks inside such a large building.
