鼻の上に何かが乗っている――それだけで、思わずクスッと笑えて、肩の力がふっと抜けてしまいます。
この小さな“ずれ”や“ギャップ”が、日常にほんのりとした楽しさを運んできてくれるのです。
本作の主役は、堂々たる虎。
百獣の王と称されるその威厳は、古くから力強さや勇気の象徴として語られてきました。
そんな虎の鼻の上に「具沢山のサンドウィッチ」が！！
きれいに焼けたバターの香るバケットにレタス、オニオン、トマト、２種類のチーズ、パテ、２種類のソースなどが挟まれています。
あふれる具材が落ちそうなサンドウィッチを上手に鼻の上に乗せています。
見ているだけでお腹がへりそうですね！
“Something on the Nose” Series
There is something instantly amusing about placing an object on an animal’s nose—it brings a quiet chuckle and gently releases any tension the viewer might be holding.
This small sense of “misalignment” or playful imbalance introduces a light, unexpected joy into everyday life.
The protagonist of this work is a dignified tiger.
Long known as the king of beasts, the tiger has been celebrated throughout history as a symbol of strength and courage.
And yet, balanced delicately on the tip of its nose is a fully loaded sandwich.
A perfectly toasted baguette, fragrant with butter, is filled with layers of lettuce, onion, tomato, two kinds of cheese, a juicy patty, and two different sauces.
Despite its overflowing abundance—on the verge of spilling—the sandwich is somehow held in perfect balance atop the tiger’s nose.
Just looking at it is enough to make your stomach growl.
